Care Ministry – Sharing The Gospel to the Elderly!

Mr. & Mrs. Pratt

The passion, mandate, and vision of the Care Ministry are to demonstrate the loving care of our Savior by ministering to those in need of comfort, care, and support. It is a ministry of our church, with members that are committed to supporting families through their times of bereavement; visiting members who are sick, shut-in, and members with other personal challenges.

The team is motivated by the words of the Apostle Paul to the believers in a local church, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”. Therefore, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” (Galatians 6:9-10).

Calvary Temple is committed to assisting the elderly in every way possible. We deliver care packages; administer communion; host outdoor activities to our parks and beaches, and when possible in homes. We believe that there are tangible ways we can demonstrate the gospel message of God’s love for those who are shut in due to age or illness. Help us, minister, to the most vulnerable in our society.
